The Diamondback is one of Yoté Jewelry’s most enduring and iconic symbols. First introduced in 2019 as part of the New Mexico Folk Collection, it was inspired by the lore of a gigantic rattlesnake said to live within the Guadalupe Mountains of southern New Mexico. From its debut, the design became a customer favorite and has remained a core emblem of Yoté’s spirit.
Beyond its folkloric roots, the rattlesnake holds deep symbolic meaning. In many traditions, it serves as a powerful protective amulet. The rattlesnake embodies clear boundaries and fierce self-possession; never an aggressor, but uncompromising when threatened.
